Ashley grew up in Nolensville, TN and currently lives in Smyrna. Those close to her say that her career chose her because she displayed a passion for caring for and a love of animals at a young age. She tried to bring home every animal she came across. She has been working with animals since the 6th grade, when she began to pet-sit.
Ashley says that animals, and pets in particular, have taught her patience, and the meaning of unconditional love. She strives to return the same type of love to each pet she cares for at work and to her own pets. She began working at Mobley's Clinic in May 2013.
All of her pets are rescues: Lobo, a coyote/sheltie mix, Shyanne, a husky/aussie mix, Lotus, an English bulldog, Moose, a pit mix, and three cats, Voodo, Axel, and Zombie. She also has an eight-year-old quarter horse, Pepper, who she rescued six years ago.
Outside of work, she enjoys reading fantasy novels, gardening, writing, painting, and studying animal behavior and learning about new breakthroughs in the Veterinary field. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her own menagerie of pets. In the future, she plans to earn her Vet Tech license and use it to its fullest and to remain a member of the Mobley team, as she considers the clinic her home away from home.
